FreeLanceSubmit.com Privacy Policy

Summary: We will not share your private information with anyone, with exceptions as necessary to provide the services you request. All exceptions are stated clearly in the request form you fill out at the time you request services. We will not "spam" you or use the contact information you provide other than as necessary to provide the services you request.

Unfortunately, our world is home to many sleazy operators. We aim not to be one of them.

Let's face it; the universe of Web marketing, including the world of Article Marketing, has more than its fair share of sleazy operators. We aim not to be one of them.

Whether you provide us information as a customer or potential customer, we assume that the information you provide is given to us in confidence, and we will honor the implicit trust you place in us. We back up that implicit trust with this explicit privacy policy.

In order to enhance security, all information about Customers and our transactions with Customers is maintained in databases which are not connected to the Internet. There is no contact information database and no project database on this Web server for anyone to hack into. All our communication is done via e-mail, which is inherently more secure than a Web server, and all e-mail is archived off-line so that contact information and project information reside on the e-mail server for as short a time as practicable.

If you are not a Customer, but simply send us a question or request for information via e-mail, we will not retain your e-mail address after we have provided the information you requested.

Customers

Here is our general policy and promise of respect for intellectual property rights and privacy for customers and potential customers. Details regarding how and why we communicate with customers are included in the Customer Agreement, which contains the formal statement of privacy policy.

There are two main kinds of information we ask customers or potential customers to give us: Contact information and Business information. We respect your rights to both of these.

We will not share your information with anyone except as necessary to provide the services you have requested. We will not use the information you give us for our own purposes other than to provide the services you have requested.

Of course, one of the main services we provide – publishing your articles – consists of sharing your information with the entire Internet. Before we actually do this, we will make sure that the information we post contains only the contact information you explicitly asked us to post and no more. You are encouraged in our Request Form to provide only Web-based contact information and not "mailto" addresses, as this is more conducive to increasing your Web business and less conducive to inviting "spam."

We retain information about you in our off-line databases for as long as necessary for accounting and related business purposes. Information retained does not include contact information or intellectual property. We will delete your e-mail address from our records once your project is complete, unless you request additional services in the mean time. We will delete your intellectual property (keyword reports and article content) once your project is complete, retaining only the project information necessary for accounting purposes.

We will communicate with you only as follows:

  • To answer questions you may have asked about our services and/or about the progress and status of any services you have requested.
  • To request clarifying or amplifying information we may need in the process of providing services you have requested.
  • To report major milestones in the progress of providing services you have requested.
  • To deliver intermediate and final products of the services you have requested.
  • A single follow-up e-mail two months after the completion of the services we have rendered for you.

We will not communicate with you to:

  • Request additional business. If you want to request additional services, you must initiate that communication yourself. We won't "spam" you.
  • Announce the availability of new or upgraded services (which is really only poorly-disguised request for additional business). If you want to know what services we may have added to our offerings from time to time, come back to our Web site.
