FreeLanceSubmit.com General PoliciesThis is a general, plain-English rendition of information in our Customer Agreement. The Customer Agreement is the legally binding contract between our customers and FreeLanceSubmit.com, so it takes precedence in case of conflicts or discrepancies. This page describes the general policies of FreeLanceSubmit.com regarding:
Project Acceptance and RejectionFreeLanceSubmit.com reserves the right to decline any project requested by any prospective customer for any reason. Apart from the explicitly declined project topics and categories listed below, the most common reason that we will decline a project is that we do not have the capacity to take on more projects than we are working on at the time we receive the request. Please note that we specialize in high-quality hands-on projects, and this requires us to be particular about what projects we accept. Remember this when we discuss "post-satisfaction" payments later on. If we are operating near full capacity, we will give preference to returning customers over new customers, and we will give preference to returning customers who honor our "post-satisfaction" payments policy. FreeLanceSubmit.com will not accept any project which we consider objectionable or inappropriate. This consideration of whether the project is objectionable or inappropriate applies to both the article(s) being requested and the Web site being promoted. That is, even if the articles being requested are acceptable, if the main business of the Web site is objectionable or inappropriate, we will decline the project. Topics we consider objectionable or inappropriate include the following categories, and may include others:
Most of those are self-explanatory as topics that most decent-minded people would consider objectionable. Again, we reserve the right to decline any project for any reason. In addition to the categories listed above, we do not accept projects describing Web business. Ironic though it may seem, we would not accept ourselves as a customer. The reasons for this have nothing to do with legal or ethical concerns regarding Web business in general. The reason we do not accept projects related to Web business is this: If you are in the business of Web business, you absolutely must develop the expertise to promote your own business on your own. You are not prepared to offer such services if you need our services to get started. Therefore, promoting your business would be promoting someone we know to be incompetent in their own line of business. We won't do it. Project Communication and DeliveryAll communication between FreeLanceSubmit.com and its customers will be via e-mail, and always through an e-mail address on the FreeLanceSubmit.com domain. All project deliverables will be delivered via e-mail, except the publication of articles, which will be done via manual submission on selected Ezine Web sites. Intellectual Property RightsAll information or other intellectual property created in the course of any project is the intellectual property of the customer requesting that project. Part of this may seem a little strange, but it is perfectly ordinary contract law: The customer has full rights of authorship in the articles that we write for the customer. Although we literally wrote the article, the customer is considered the author because we produced it under contract to the customer. You may also notice from a careful reading of our Customer Agreement that FreeLanceSubmit.com becomes bound to protect the intellectual property rights of the customer as soon as the customer submits the request for services, even before there really is a project, yet the customer is not bound by any contractual obligation until they remit payment for a project that we have accepted. What this means is that we promise, indeed we are legally bound, not to steal your ideas even if there never is a vendor/customer relationship established between us. If you have the absolute coolest idea for a Web site that ever was, we will honor your intellectual rights to the idea even though you may have told us about it before there even is such a Web site. You can trust us. Of course, the other side of that coin is equally valid. If we find in the course of a project that it violates someone else's intellectual property rights, we must honor those rights and halt all work on the project, and the loss is yours. PricingYes, we do charge more than most "ghost writers." Yes, you can get good service at a lower price. What FreeLanceSubmit.com offers that you won't find anywhere else is our combination of hands-on service for those who are new to Article Marketing and complete one-stop service to get your Article Marketing program going. We can take your Article Marketing program from the first vague idea to the point where it's generating measurable results, and we're with you every step of the way. If you want to do more of the work yourself, learn from your own mistakes, and start seeing good results eight or ten months from now, you are welcome to try and we sincerely wish you good luck. But if you want to work with the experts, benefit from our experience, and start seeing more traffic on your Web site inside of a month, we're here for you. It will cost you more, but not as much as half a year of false starts. Initial PaymentsInitial payment is due when we accept the project you have requested. As a practical matter, we may begin preliminary work on your project before payment has been received or cleared. We are honest people and we assume we are working with honest people, so we don't want to hold up the project just because it takes a few days for PayPal to churn. As soon as we accept your project, we will begin the background work, especially asking you for any clarifying information we may need. Upon our acceptance of your project request, you will receive an invoice via e-mail from PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay this invoice, but the payment is made on PayPal's secure payment server. You can pay, in accordance with PayPal's policies and procedures, either from your PayPal account, using a credit/debit card, or by direct transfer from your bank. We will not deliver any part of the project until payment is received and cleared. Initial Pricing EstimatesBelieve it or not, it's true: If your actual initial price is different from the original estimate, it will always be lower. Initial prices presented on our Request Form are based on worst-case scenarios. In the process of deciding whether to accept your project, we will evaluate the things that our Request Form could not evaluate, and we will send you an invoice based on our preliminary evaluation, and not strictly on the original estimate. Factors that might reduce your initial pricing affect only our Article "Ghost Writing" service, and our Article Publishing service. All other services will be priced the same as the initial estimate. Projects might be cheaper than the initial estimate if:
Initial prices for projects will never be higher than the estimate you saw on our Request Form, unless your Web browser was unable to run the javascript code that produces the estimate. If your browser did not run the scripts, our Request Form will make it clear that the estimate is not valid. Post-Satisfaction PaymentsThis is how we stand behind the quality of our work. We don't ask you to pay the full price until you've had a chance to see the results. And even then, when we remind you to make the "Post-satisfaction" payments, it is only an invitation and not a demand. If you honestly believe that the work we did for you is worth no more than the initial price, then don't pay the "Post-satisfaction" payment. We do not pester you or report you to anybody if you choose not to make the "Post-satisfaction" payment. We remind you of it one time, two months after your project was completed, and that's the end of it. About two months after delivery of the last piece of your project, you will receive a payment request via e-mail from PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to pay this payment request, but the payment is made on PayPal's secure payment server. You can pay, in accordance with PayPal's policies and procedures, either from your PayPal account, using a credit/debit card, or by direct transfer from your bank. Do bear in mind that if you ever request additional projects from us, we are more likely to decline them if you have not rendered a "Post-satisfaction" payment on a previous project. If we have more project requests than we can accept, which happens pretty often, we will prefer to accept a project from a satisfied customer over one who has not expressed satisfaction by rendering the requested "Post-satisfaction" payment. Your decision to pay or not to pay the "Post-satisfaction" payment is a statement to us as to whether you are satisfied with our services or not. Remember that you agreed at the time you requested the project that you would pay this "Post-satisfaction" payment if you were satisfied with our work. It's your call. |
