FreeLanceSubmit.com Article Publishing Service

Our Article Publishing service is available only for articles that we wrote for you, including articles for which you provided source material which we rewrote as articles.

Here is a description of our Article Publishing service, in five subsections:

What You Give Us

Virtually all of the information we need for our Article Publishing service was already provided for the Article "Ghost Writing" service. The following list shows the additional information we will need in order to publish the articles we wrote for you.

You must give us the following:

  • General category of your article(s).
  • Digital picture of the author.
  • Author biography.

General Category

On the Request Form, select the one general category into which your article and target market fit best. If you think that none of the categories fit, select "Other" and write the category you think we should use in the "Description" box.

Digital Picture

This is not essential, but it is strongly recommended. Your article will be much more effective as a marketing tool if readers have a face to associate with the information in the articles.

This picture will usually occur once on the Article Directory, and not in every article. Readers will see this when they click on the "about the author" link that the Article Directory publisher will place in the article.

Send us the picture in whatever format you have – JPG, PNG, BMP or whatever. We will convert it to the size and format that the Article Directories prefer (typically JPG, approximately 160 x 200 pixels or larger, but not too large). If we have to crop your picture or otherwise alter it (other than scaling it), we will send it back for your approval before posting it on the Article Directories. This turn-around will not delay the process of publishing your articles.

It is not necessary to provide this at the time you request our services, but you will be asked to provide it as soon as we accept your project.

Author Biography

On the Request Form, provide a few sentences describing yourself. You should think marketing: Just a few sentences that establish you as experienced and knowledgeable in the field to which your article relates.

What We Do

We will choose the Article Directories on which to publish your articles. We will choose two general-subject Article Directories and up to two Article Directories that specialize in your chosen category of articles. If we can not find two of these specialized Article Directories, we will use only one. If we can not find even one, we will instead publish your articles on three general-subject Article Directories. Most of the Article Directories on which we publish will be those with a pre-screening process, in order to ensure that your articles are published on high-quality Article Directories. We may use Article Directories that do not require screening if that is the policy of the most appropriate category-specific Article Directory or Ezine we can find.

Incidentally, throughout our Web site, we often use the terms "Ezine" and "Article Directory" nearly interchangeably. Technically, the Web sites to which we submit your articles are properly called "Article Directories," and the term "Ezine" refers to publications which are distributed periodically via e-mail. However, many e-mail periodicals maintain comprehensive on-line archives of every article they have published, and many Web-based Article Directories also send articles to subscribers via e-mail, so the terms are becoming less precise.

After we choose the Article Directories on which we intend to publish your articles, we create an account if we do not have one already. We add you to our account as an "alternate author." (We are authorized to do this for you, as we are working under contract to you.)

We post your biographical information on the Ezine in your "alternate author" segment of our account, and the picture if we have it. If we do not have the picture yet, we will post it when we have it, and when we have your approval of any necessary cropping we may have done.

Finally, we post your article(s) on each of the Ezines, and wait for approvals.

If any of the chosen Ezines rejects one or more of the articles, the article(s) will have to be reworked. After the articles have been reworked, we will submit them again and begin waiting for approvals again.

Any articles that we wrote for you have no limit on how many times we will revise and resubmit. We will revise and resubmit until they are accepted by all of the Ezines that we selected.

What We Deliver

After each article has been accepted for publication, we will send you an e-mail indicating the URL of the article as published on each of the Ezines.

In addition, if we made any changes to the author’s picture, even a rescaling, we will send the picture to you as an e-mail attachment in exactly the format in which we posted it to the Ezines.

For each article we published, we will send you a text file containing the text of the article as accepted by the Ezines, as described on the Article "Ghost Writing" services page.

Pricing

Article Publishing services are priced at a fixed rate for the entire project, plus a small incremental price for each article after the first in a project. Note that the incremental price is small, as most of the work is in establishing the account and "alternate author" information.

Initial Price Per Article "Post-Satisfaction" Per Article
Project + 1 article $50.00 $15.00
Each article, 2-10 $10.00 $5.00

Article Publishing services will be reduced in price if we are already familiar with all Ezines on which the articles are to be published. This will depend on how many articles in this same category we have published for previous customers, and whether we are satisfied with the Ezines that we have used in the past to serve that category. This reduction will be indicated on the invoice after we have accepted the project. The first article in each project that we publish using only Ezines with which we are already familiar and satisfied will be published for $35.00, but the cost for each additional article and the suggested "Post-satisfaction" payment remain the same.

Rough Time Estimate

Bottom line: Barring any rejections by the Ezines, each of your articles will probably be published within six business days after we have them ready to be published.

Articles will be published and the results delivered to the customer over a period of time as they are made ready for publishing. Articles will be ready for publishing as soon as they are written and the customer indicates approval. The time to publish the first article in a project will also include the time for creating the account and "alternate author" information on each of the Ezines on which it is to be published.

Each article will be submitted to the Ezine in less than one business day after it is available, typically in the same day.

The time required for the Ezine to review and approve the article is beyond our control, and typically takes between three and five business days.

If one or more of the articles are rejected by one or more of the Ezines, they will be reworked to correct any problems. We will make the corrections and resubmit the article within two business days.

Rejection by the Ezines is unusual, so the typical article is published within five business days after we submit it.

The project is considered complete when the last of the selected Ezines reports publication of the last of the articles in the project, and we have sent the article in its final form to the customer.
